R. Attende, Domine, et miserere, quia peccavimus tibi.
1. Ad te Rex summe, omnium redemptor, oculos nostros sublevamus flentes: exaudi, Christe, supplicantum preces. (R.)
2. Dextera Patris, lapis angularis, via salutis, ianua caelestis, ablue nostri maculas delicti. (R.)
3. Rogamus, Deus, tuam maiestatem: auribus sacris gemitus exaudi: crimina nostra placidus indulge. (R.)
4. Tibi fatemur crimina admissa: contrito corde pandimus occulta: tua Redemptor, pietas ignoscat. (R.)
5. Innocens captus, nec repugnans ductus, testibus falsis pro impiis damnatus: quos redemisti, tu conserva, Christe. (R.)[2]
R. Hearken, O Lord, and have mercy, for we have sinned against you.
1. Crying we raise our eyes to you, sovereign King, redeemer of all: hear, O Christ, the prayers of the supplicant. (R.)
2. The right hand of the father, the cornerstone, the way of salvation, the gate of heaven: cleanse us of our sins. (R.)
3. O God, we ask your majesty: hear our laments with your sacred ears: calmly indulge our transgressions. (R.)
4. We confess to our our admitted wrongdoings: we declare our hidden sins with a contrite heart: your piety, Redeemer forgives. (R.)
5. You were captured innocent, giving no resistance, condemned by the impious with false testimony: protect those you have redeemed, O Christ. (R.)
